For up to date public health information, go to www.cdc.gov and click on “travelers health” and select the county (Nepal). During March, mosquitoes are not common at low altitudes even in Pokhara or Chitwan because of cool nights. However, it is best to be prepared and I suggest everyone travel with repellent (Deet or Picaridin, etc.).
